As an Expat living abroad, do I pay tax on expat savings accounts and fixed rate bonds?

  • We are not licensed to give taxation advice, but all the maturities are paid gross, so you will needto speak to your accountant to ascertain your personal situation with regards to tax.

I don’t want any risk with my savings as I am retired and can’t afford to start losing money!

With my current Financial Planner I get charged fees all too often, how do you charge clients?

  • As a Broker and not an IFA or similar, we get a one-off fee for each product (expat savings accounts or the best fixed rate bonds) we place for our clients. This does not come from our clients’ savings, as it is paid by the product provider. As we only receive this initial fee, there are no ongoing annual costs for our customers, so they get ‘exactly what it says on the tin’.

As a pensioner, I don’t want to fill out loads of complicated paperwork!

  • Opening a high interest savings account couldn’t be simpler. We will not present you with excessive paperwork, our staff will take you through the application process step by step.
